Trunk or Treats X 2
Pax has now participated in two Trunk or Treating experiences! Saturday we went to Covington, and tonight we went to our church. He looks too cute as Elmo, and had so much fun. Here are the ones from Shiloh:

18 month check-up and Elmo Does Gymnastics

Pax had his 18 month check-up this afternoon. He is in the 90th percentile in both height and weight. He weighs 30 pounds, and is 31 and 1/4 inches tall. I can't believe how big he is getting! He had to get a shot, and he didn't even cry! I was so proud of him for not even crying! Dr. Lynn seemed to be pretty impressed with him and all that he can do. She even said, "You've got a great one!" As Brad pointed out, she probably says this to everyone, but it still makes a mom feel good to hear that!
After our check-up, we went to gymnastics. The kids got to wear their costumes and then we attempted to do the routines after we got some pictures. They were pretty much done, and it turned out to be quite comical to watch the kids run around!

We love you Uncle Adam!
Adam came home for two nights, and we got to see him a little bit! We always love it when we can see him and hang out, and Pax sure does like it when Uncle Adam is home and plays with him! Adam is so busy with his new job as assistant tennis coach at Presbyterian College, that we hardly see him. These are just some pictures that I took after our Sunday night dinner.

That's what friends are for!

Getting together, hanging out, sharing fun stories, and pictures, of course!
Last Saturday, Suzie had us over for breakfast at her house. Sarah was going to be in the area and we were going to go out for breakfast, when Suzie offerred to cook. Yummy! We couldn't pass that up! So, Pax and I stopped at the store and picked up a few more things and headed over for delicious french toast! Suzie took these really cute pictures of Pax and the dogs! If you haven't already, you should read Suzie's post about these pictures!
Tonight, we got to see the girls again as Sarah had us over for dinner. Pax and I headed there after school, and we ate tasty soup and bread, and salad, of course---Pax's favorite part! I requested salad for Pax. Suzie and Sarah were surprised to see him eat that over the bread and the cheese soup! He just loves salad! After dinner, we went for a walk around Sarah's neighborhood. Pax was so excited to see all the dogs. In fact, we stopped at one part and he got out to pet 3 little dogs. He thought they were really cute, but definitely prefers bigger dogs!
Thank you for the two excellent meals this week, girls! We need to find a time to have yall over here for lunch! Thank you for your friendships, too! Pax had fun seeing so much of his aunts this week, too!

18 months old

This one might be my favorite!!--It's hard to say!

He loved the football!
It was a bit chilly, so we had to bundle him up!
Getting ready for the race!
Where is his hand?
I love this one, too!
He loved his ribbon!
This one is my other favorite! Look at those eyes!
Sam and Rodney on the swings--just big kids!
Pax and Grandma
Pax and both sets of grandparents
Pax and Mommy
This is another favorite!
Melanie, me, and Mom
Look at him go!
Pax and his 2 grandmothersCan you believe that Pax is already 18 months old? I can't at all! He is getting so big, so fast!
We celebrated today by going to the J-Day Fun Run, and invited the entire family. Brad's aunt, uncle, and cousin also came and ran in the race. Sam actually won the entire thing! Go Sam! Suzie ran with me and she and I got 3rd and 4th. :-) Brad even ran, too! He said he won't run in another race, though. Pax ran in his very first race--the 50 yard dash. He was pretty tired by the time his race started, because he only got a 10 minute nap on the way home from church. He wasn't too excited about running until the end when he got his blue ribbon for finishing. He still looked cute, though!
Before the race, Suzie took Paxton's 18 month pictures. I am so excited to see these pictures, because she got some excellent shots of him! We are so lucky to have our very own photographer! I stole several of these off her website on Facebook, thus the logo on there. :-) Go check out her website at www.splitsecondatl.com.
