Belated Easter

Pax and Mimi--it's a little dark :-(

Hunting Easter Eggs one last time

Pax and Papa

Nannie, Pax, and Aunt Shell

A perfect picture to encompass a typical day at Mimi and Papa's---every single sport is out and played briefly before moving to the next one!!

We spent the day at Mimi and Papa's celebrating a belated Easter. Aunt Shell and Uncle Brooks got to come down, too. We had hamburgers and then enjoyed an Easter egg hunt. Pax then had a blast just playing in the yard. It was a beautiful day for being outside!!

Pax spent the night there while Brad and I headed to a wedding.

More Birthday Gifts!

Opening the gift from Aunt Kathy, Uncle Ken, and Jess

Trying really hard here to get into that package!

He loved the books

Nice place to store the swords, there, bubby!

We came home to find a package on our front porch from Brad's aunt and uncle in Texas. Pax was so excited! He loved the 3 books, but his favorite was the one above.

Then, he wanted to put his swords in his shirt, so I had to send this picture to Uncle Adam! He LOVES playing with these swords, and takes them everywhere he goes (except Mrs. Tracey's!!)!

I want to document mine and Brad's favorite saying of Paxton's right now---"Wes or no? Wes or no? Wes?" He continues to repeat that until you answer him, either yes or no, even if he's hoping for yes! It's funny!

Easter Fun

Dying Easter eggs--we wrote his name on this one before dying it. It turned out really cool!

Then we put sticker faces on them! Pax is being a motor boat here! Silly boy!

Riding his bike from Mimi and Papa. He kept saying, "I'm doing really good!"

Time to hunt Easter Eggs!

That's one full basket!

After church, we headed to Mom and Dad's for some festivities. We had a DELICIOUS lunch cooked by Brad (cubed steak, potatoes, homemade mac and cheese, etc). Then, Pax got to dye Easter Eggs. He thought that was neat, even though his fingers turned out green from reaching in to grab the egg. He didn't quite get how to use the tool to get them out. Then, we hunted eggs in the yard, and took a nap. We were still recovering from yesterday's Day o' Pax! :-)

It's a BOY!

All our friends and family

2D of our baby boy parts

Kristen pointed out that it looks like he's in a giant hand! Pretty cool, huh?

My team decorated my room with baby blankets Monday morning!:-)

We went to Baby Dimensions on Friday, and did a 3D/4D ultrasound to find out that we're having a BABY BOY!! We had quite a support group that all thought it was going to be a girl. The ultrasound tech did a quick vote before she began and 5 people said boy, while everyone else said girl. We were all excited to know that Pax is getting a baby brother though!! Even if he still says it's a sister!!!

Thank you to everyone for coming to support us---Keith, Melanie, Brooks, Rochelle, Mom, Dad, Gigi, Adam, Pat, Suzie, Stephanie, and Sarah! We love y'all!

Pax on his safari

Me, Pax, and Aunt Rochelle

We had Paxton's Wild African Safari at Mom and Dad's house. We had all kinds of yummy Safari foods, and Pax got ALL kinds of great gifts! The kids played and some got their faces painted, then we ate, then took pictures of the kids before they headed off to hunt for safari animals. Then, the kids took some swings at a pinata before Brad had to finish it off. We headed to sing and eat cake. Pax was so funny--as we sang, he joined right along and sang, "Happy Birthday to Paxton..." Then, he decided it was time to open presents, and he just went and got one to open! Funny kid!! Once he got the trumpet from Mimi and Papa and the swords from Adam, he kept going back to them between presents!

We then chilled out and enjoyed the company until about 7 pm when everybody left. Then, we had the Blackstone's and Greba's stay for the bon fire complete with s'mores! What a fun day!!! Thank you to everyone that helped to make it special!!!!
