Sarah's Birthday Dinner

We celebrated Sarah's 28th birthday at No Mas. There was quite the showing, and we had a lot of fun!

Sun Valley Beach

Jayden and Pax

Anna and Brody

Disclaimer---I did NOT do well taking pictures!! So sad I didn't get any of our family.

Our last Friday of the summer was spent at Sun Valley Beach. We met Anna and her boys there. We had a fun family day spent playing in the giant pool and doing the slides. Pax did one of the bigger slides about 50 times on his own!! We would just sit at the bottom, and he would walk up the steps and then slide down. He had a blast!! We were all worn out again!!

Another summer day was spent hanging with friends and having fun. Megan and Caroline came over and we went and rode horses. I haven't ridden in forever, so it was good to get to ride. I had a lot of fun, and was really sore after riding! Megan watched Pax, and took pictures while Caroline and I rode. Then, Paxton had been so looking forward to getting to ride, and ended up riding both of the horses.

After we were worn out and sweaty, we went and got lunch and went swimming. So refreshing! During Paxton's nap, Megan, Caroline, and I all went to school to work on setting up my classroom. It is a sad realization that school is just around the corner, but it was good to get so much done in my room. Thanks, girls, for spending the day with us, and helping out with Pax! You girls are very special to our family! We love you!

Aunt Shell Came to Play

Aunt Rochelle came to Douglasville to spend the day before I head back to school. She came bright and early in time for cardio tennis, then we took lunch to Suzie, and then we spent the day relaxing by the pool. We also worked in time for an afternoon nap! Then, she stayed for the tennis demo night we had at the courts. It was so great to spend the day and hang out, and Pax loved showing Aunt Shell around his turf! Thanks for making the trek, Aunt Shell!

Ella is the one waving--Pax wasn't tall enough for the Mine train, and he was not happy!!

So we went and rode the flying pigs instead!

Pax grabbed Georgia's hand and wanted to hold it!! So funny!!! I guess he likes older women!

Pax and me going down the little slides (he did two that were bigger than this!)

We had so much fun at Six Flags back in June, that we decided to go back again. Well, the complete truth is that I still had my free ticket, and Pax could still get in free. So, we decided to go back. Aunt Sarah decided to join us, but I think that was her last time to Six Flags--ever! Hahaha! Ashleigh brought both of the girls that she babysits for, so we had 3 kids, and 3 adults. It worked out perfectly.

This time, we rode Thunder River and Splashwater Falls. Pax loved them both! We did a lot of the kid rides in Tooney Town, and then we did Skull Island, too. It is an actual waterpark with 7 or 8 water slides in it. We had a blast in there!! We were ALL so worn out after that part, that we decided to leave and go get lunch. All in all, it was a fun, but exhausting day! Thanks to all the girls for making this a special day!

I Love This Kid!

Pax and Reagan after Ash taught their tiny tots class

Liz, Reagan, Amy, Pax--we are mighty sweaty!

Pax and Reagan---look at Paxton's face!!

Awww-big hug! Pax's face is even all smushed!

Look at these two!

This picture is too funny not to post! The girls put these glasses on Pax and took this after tiny tots! He insisted that he wear his cowboy hat!!!

Reagan came into town from Louisiana for a short trip, and we got to spend lots of time with her. They even came to tennis. Aren't these two just so cute together!?!? We're going to show them this picture when they are older!:-)

These are a couple cute antecdotes from Paxton's world lately, and explain why I just love him so much!! You know that I have to document them!
-Grandma's name has progressed (although I'm not sure this is a good nick name) from Ma-ma to Dam-ma. He can't say G's.

-"What that is?" He says this all the time and about everything!

-One night we were sitting on the couch, and Pax said, "Mommy, I proud of you!" I just thought this was so sweet!!!!

-He already understands procrastination, as he says, "Pay cars just lil bit, Mommy?" to put off going to bed or even eating dinner. When he says it in such a sweet voice, how can I say no to that?
