Pax and Kinzley

There is a new baby girl at Mrs. Tracey's and Pax just loves her. She seems to love him, too. He takes good care of her, and calls her "Baby Sister." Too funny! Above-giving her her paci; Below-a video Mrs. Tracey sent me of Pax swinging her!!

You can see that he is still able to watch TV while he pushes her. :-)

Birthday Fun

September 25th Birthday brunch for Alison's birthday

Sept 20th Bday dinner for Suz

Actual Birthday party for Suzie on Sept 18

Yes, there are 30 candles there!

We celebrated Suzie's 30th birthday by going out to dinner in Atlanta. We went to Rose Crown Tavern, an Irish Pub, and all of our closest friends were there. It was so fun, and I'm glad we were there to help Suzie celebrate!

First time Fishing

Getting his gear ready to go fishing
Best Buds

Three of his favorite things-Papa, horses, and a motorized vehicle

Pax and Papa casting the line
Pax doesn't look like he enjoys the waiting part!

Using his Spiderman fishing pole that Uncle Brooks and Aunt Shell gave him

Getting help from Papa

"I can do it by me-self"

Oooooo-picking out his worm

Typical boy!!!!!! He's loving it!

So proud of his fish!

Mimi and Papa took Paxton fishing for the first time, and he had a blast. He even caught a fish, as you can see from the pictures. He was so proud of his little fish, and told me all about it when he got home. "It was THIS tall" (as he motioned with his hands to show you how tall the fish was).

Labor Day Fun

Mom, Dad, Pat, and Lynne just got back from the US Open, and brought us shirts

Top Spin is about to jump in to swim a bit

Uncle Pat put Pax in this cooler and then rolled him to us. He was supposed to jump out and say "Surprise!"

Pax loves this puppy--he says he's his favorite!

Now he's swimming

Kayaking with Ash

Sept 6th

We spent Labor Day at the lake with the Greba's. Pax enjoyed the boat more than last time, even. He sat up front all big and proud and told Grandma to go faster and faster.

I need to document that Pax is into a really independent stage. He wants to do everything himself--buckle his car seat, put his clothes on, take his clothes off, get out of the car, etc--he says, "Do it me-self."

Also, Pax has added a really sweet part to his bedtime routine. After we read a couple books and say his prayers (also by "me-self"), then he lays in bed and reads his Bible. He wants me to read mine at the same time, and so we read together for a little while. I think this is just priceless! Love that kid! Thanks for keeping me in check!

Pax and Carson

Mrs. Tracey has a new kitten (that I want to bring home) named Carson. It is so cute and tiny! Pax just loves him and is very gentle with him. Tracey sent me these pictures from her phone.

A note about the paci---He still uses it when he sleeps and in the car. I'm about ready for it to be gone, but I can't lie about the fact that it's so nice to have it to sooth him and calm him down. He's in the car so much, that I'm not quite ready to fight him to give it up. We'll see how much longer we can handle it. He just looks like a baby with it in his mouth!

Day with Daddy

Sept. 3

Brad took Pax to the mall on Friday and sent me this picture to see. Even though it's blurry because it was taken with Brad's phone, you can still tell how cute it is!!

Tennis Team Lake Party

Megan and Pax--don't worry, he didn't ride this way

Caroline and Taylor

Megan and Will riding through the woods

August 21

On Saturday, we went to a small man-made lake in Alabama with Brad's tennis team. One family owns the lake and all the land around it. It was so beautiful! The kids drove everywhere on four-wheelers, and Pax got to go along, too (even though some people felt like it wasn't very safe). Caroline borrowed the camera to capture the pretty pictures of the sunset above. Pax had fun playing with both Megan and Caroline there!

My Future Running Buddy

August 30th

After we ate dinner Monday night, Pax had so much energy and was acting so crazy! So, I put on some running shoes, and Pax and I went out for a run. He was not in the stroller--he ran with me. We ran all the way up to the stop sign and then a little farther before I talked him into turning around to come home! The temperature was actually a little cooler, so it felt great! I can't wait until he is big enough to REALLY run with me! Although, I'm still going to have to get my "Steph time" in and run with her, too! Don't worry, Steph!
On a side note--He has an orange skittle in his mouth, because he got it for going potty. We haven't made a ton of progress on the potty training thing, but he has told me a few times that he has to go, and has gone. We'll get there!

Do the Chop

Running the bases up in Sky field

(Pax spilled his water---can you tell?)

Read below :-)

August 27th
Adam came home for the weekend, and we went to the Brave's game Friday night. Even though the Brave's lost (by a lot), we had so much fun. Pax liked the Tomahawk chop even more this time. He would do it on his own, and he even got excited when the Brave's hit a homerun.

I have to explain the last picture-----we let some friends borrow our infant seat. They returned it to Mom, so it was at their house. Pax insisted that he sit in it, AND that I buckle him up. He thought it was hilarious!!
