The Easter Bunny Came to Town

The awe as he first sees the sand toys.

Taking them all out of the bucket.

Uncle Adam putting the bucket on Paxton's head.

Oh boy---taking the sand toys out to play

Raking the sand

Pax and Uncle Adam with their toes in the sand

Having fun with Uncle Adam

Independent play--wahoo!!!

Focusing on the sand falling from the sifter

Playing in the afternoon--with his visor that he made at Jayden's birthday party last year. He has just found it again, and wants to wear it all the time. Hahaha!

The Easter Bunny came to town, and visited Pax at Grandma and Pops' house early. He left a bucket full of sand toys on the table for Pax. Hmmm-what good would sand toys do? Well, Grandma and Pops filled a sand box down by the pool for Pax to play in. He was soooooo excited to see the sand, and played in it for a solid hour. Because he was so enthralled with the sand box, then the water table, then back to the sand box, I realized that I might really get to lay out by the pool this summer!! I'm just hoping, anyway. But, he was so funny, because he would fill up the sand box with all his toys, then shake the sand off, and move them all, one by one, to the water table. He is his father's son! Then he would move them back. This entertained him for a long time in the afternoon while we sat around the pool and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL, warm weather!
