The brown hair:-(
The certificateYep, we did it! Brad and I decided, despite what others said, that we wanted to get his hair cut. So, we took him to Snip Its this afternoon. As soon as we walked in, it was the same reaction as we get from him when we arrive at Monkey Joe's--clingy and not too sure of the bright colors and environment. We put him in the kid-sized chair, and he cried from the very beginning. The hair stylist was so good and didn't even miss a beat with all his crying and tears. Good thing the place was pretty empty, that way we didn't disturb anyone. I tried cheerios, a sucker, bubbles, the TV, but none of that worked. She was able to finish his hair in less than 5 minutes! Thank goodness! It looks so cute, and he looks like such a big boy now! We even splurged and got a certificate and a baggy of his hair.
Because he was traumatized with his hair cut, he got to eat ice cream at dinner tonight with Grandma and Pops. This was after he scarfed down the fried rice at the Japanese restaurant. It was just a day full of firsts for Little Man today!
He has also been taking a step every now and then. He'll be walkng soon!
