Our Vacation to Lake Wedowee

Like usual, Pops took him wherever he wanted to go. This time they ended up playing in the water hose.
Pax playing in the water hose (in his clothes!)

Daddy showed him how to put his finger in the hose, and make it spray! He was soken wet by the time they were done.

He was filthy dirty, which led to pool time and a bath.

Pops teaching him how to blow bubbles in the baby pool.

Pax doing it on his own!

Drinking the pool water:-(

Blowing more bubbles

I love this one-piece bathing suit! It was perfect since it was a little chilly Saturday.

He took this job very seriously

More pool time

This time is was very chilly and sprinkling. He pitched a big fit this time when we took him out, even though his body was very cold.

Playing with the "baa"

Splish Splashin' and having a blast!

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the Greba's lake house. They were so nice to open their house to us, while they went camping. My family-Mom, Dad, Adam, Brad, Pax, and me-all went. Even though it was a rainy weekend, and there wasn't much sun at all, everyone had a great time "chillaxin'". Pax and Adam were the only ones that got into their bathing suits. We let Pax swim in his baby pool at least twice a day. Every time we got out, he would get mad, and start yelling, "baa-baa" (bath). On Sunday, he ended up taking a bath in the pool.

We also went for a couple boat rides, and Pax loved sitting up front with the wind blowing in his face. It took him a little bit to get used to wearing that bulky life vest, but once he got used to it, he had a blast! He even got to drive the boat! Every day, we wore him out, because he took some really good naps.
On Sunday night, he was carrying around his new favorite water bottle--Grandma's Camelback. He absolutely loves this bottle, and has been stealing it from her every time he's gone to her house lately. He drinks a ton from it, so no one minds. But, when he was carrying it Sunday night, he tripped, and fell down. The bottle jabbed his gum pretty hard. I thought he was okay, and that it just hurt him. But, soon after he fell, his mouth started bleeding, and wouldn't stop! When we cleared the blood away and he let us lift his lip, I freaked out. He cut his gum, and it was pushed way up in his mouth--you could see his whole tooth! Luckily Mom and Dad were there to calm and control:-) Brad immediately went to the store to get Motrin and popsicles, while the rest of us tried what we could to get the bleeding to stop. Poor Pax! He calmed down, and went to bed, but even today, his mouth still bleeds whenever he puts anything in his mouth. I'm sure you all know how difficult this is with a 13 month old running around!!

Those pictures of Pax in the pool are so sweet. And the one of Pax & Brad looking to the side makes me laugh because it shows how they are alike. Looks like you guys had a great time!
