He hasn't liked Bubba in the past, but he had pumped himself up to see him this year and Bubba was the first thing we saw as we walked into the baseball game!
Swimming in the lake. The water was surprisingly warmer than it has been in the past!

There were 3 baby deer in our front yard!
Pax and Gigi
We had an amazing time at the lake! Pax enjoyed all the freedom of being able to go outside and play all day long and whenever he wanted! The guys all left to go home Saturday morning, and Pax, mom, and I stayed with Gigi 4 more days. Pax missed all the guys and being able to rough house with them, but had to find other entertainment! :-) One of his favorite things was not necessarily all the toys we went and bought at yard sales, but make shift drums that he found around the cottage!!! He played them almost non-stop, and they were LOUD, as two were cookie tins!!
The morning we had to leave, we asked Pax if he was ready to go. At first he said, "No," but then he said that he missed his toys at home and wanted to go play his drums and his swords! So silly. Therefore, the last picture above is the aftermath of playing at home for a few short minutes. He took EVERYTHING out of the toy boxes and had fun! It was amazing to see how excited he was about his toys that he hadn't seen in 2 weeks.
