Taking a break from opening presents to play his trumpet. He kept stopping and going back to this gift from Mimi and Papa!
Pax on his safariWe had Paxton's Wild African Safari at Mom and Dad's house. We had all kinds of yummy Safari foods, and Pax got ALL kinds of great gifts! The kids played and some got their faces painted, then we ate, then took pictures of the kids before they headed off to hunt for safari animals. Then, the kids took some swings at a pinata before Brad had to finish it off. We headed to sing and eat cake. Pax was so funny--as we sang, he joined right along and sang, "Happy Birthday to Paxton..." Then, he decided it was time to open presents, and he just went and got one to open! Funny kid!! Once he got the trumpet from Mimi and Papa and the swords from Adam, he kept going back to them between presents!
We then chilled out and enjoyed the company until about 7 pm when everybody left. Then, we had the Blackstone's and Greba's stay for the bon fire complete with s'mores! What a fun day!!! Thank you to everyone that helped to make it special!!!!
