WE ARE SWIMMING!

Kyle and Pax

Playing Lacrosse

We already have lots of toys!

Brad and Pax (with a mohawk), with Dayne and Adam in the background

Pax LOVES giving Top Spin his treat, and can do it all by himself now. Too cute!

Top Spin takes it so gently from him.

Wahoo!!! After 14 days of construction (that started July 20th), and about 60 hours of filling the pool, we can finally swim!!! It's so exciting! After we went to church, we spent the entire day in the pool! Pax enjoyed swimming, but also liked walking around the slippery pool deck and playing with the balls and goals. He sure isn't afraid of the water!

Bob, Kyle, and Blake stopped by, and brought Pax mini lacrosse sticks. Kyle loves playing lacrosse and found these kid-friendly ones for his "little brother," as he calls Pax! Pax really liked walking around with them. It was such a sweet gift!

It's sort of surreal that Mom and Dad have a pool now! Everyone is enjoying it, and I'm glad Adam was able to swim before he headed off to his J-O-B. He got the job as assistant tennis coach at his college. I know he'll do a great job recruiting, and will love being in the college atmosphere and around the students! We will miss him, and I think he is a little torn now that Pax adores him and plays with him, and that Mom and Dad built a pool!! He'll have to come visit a lot!
I'm sure we'll spend a lot of time here in the pool this week and month! We have to get the most out of the end of the season that we can!
