Pax has several fathers to celebrate, so we spread it out over the weekend! We celebrated with Papa on Friday at their house. They had told Pax that if he gave up his paci, that they would get him a slip n' slide. After a pretty decent week and not too much trouble, he earned his slip n' slide (pics seen on a different post)! He did best at night, but the naps were the biggest problem. It took him a long time to calm down and fall asleep in the afternoons. At the beginning of the week, he cried for a solid 30 minutes wanting his paci. We told him that they were put up for Parker, and that he couldn't have them. That didn't go over too well at first, but he was soon okay with it. However, at one point he was crying and wanting it, so I told him that if he had his paci, he wouldn't get his slip n' slide. Well he said that he didn't want it, and he wanted Daddy to get his "sliding board," as he calls it!

We celebrated Father's Day with Pops and Brad at the lake, since we threw a large wedding shower on actual Father's Day. Pax refused to wear his ear plug, so he didn't get to get in the water at all. Brad and Adam tubed a lot, and Pax didn't like watching them fall off. He was very concerned about them, and kept telling Grandma to slow down! He's so caring! I think he would have had fun tubing if he didn't have to wear the ear plug. We had 2 different types for him to chose from, but his ear hurt too bad that we couldn't even touch it to put it in.
