It's Santa!

Mason looks all comfy while Pax looks like he's saying, "How much longer do I have to sit here?"

Pax had to go to the garage at the end to find his Gator

And he loved it!

Thank you, Grandma and Pops!

Grandma and Pops wrapped up these small John Deere toys with a note telling him where to find a larger toy that he could ride.

On Christmas Eve, we always open all of our presents and also enjoy a visit from Santa after we attend the Christmas Eve church service. Pax was a little apprehensive and we had to tell him that if he didn't sit in Santa's lap that he wouldn't give him as many presents. Well, as you can see from the pictures, he sat with him and we got some cute pictures with he and Mason.

Pax got a ton of really cool toys, but our favorite (yes, mine, too) was his John Deere gator. We bundled him up and let him ride it around a little while. It was a little tough getting him to come inside! Uncle Adam bought him a drum and some cymbals (thanks so much, bro), and Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bruce got him a work bench with tools. Gigi bought him an electric keyboard and a remote control car that he also loved. Everything that he opened, he asked us to take it out of the box. At one point during the night, Pax was in the foyer pulling out every piece of the Black and Decker work bench and trying to put it together himself. Hey, it kept him busy!

A Swedish tradition that we always close the night with is eating rice pudding. There is always a hidden almond (or two), and if you find it, then you are supposed to have good luck all year. I found the first one, and then Pax got the next one. I know mine wasn't rigged, so I expect some good luck to come my way!!

Paxton did say that he wanted "two drums" for Christmas! Lucky you!!

Can't wait to see him on the gator!
