"Bye Bye"

When Mimi and Papa brought Pax home yesterday, they said he was saying, "bye bye". However, I didn't believe them at all, until he said it about 10 minutes after they got home! It's so cute, because he waves, too. So, whether or not he really knows what he's saying, he sure has learned how to do it to make us think he does!

Each week after tennis practice, we head to Monterrey's with the Greba's and Mom and Dad. Tonight, he showed off his new trick while Mom was holding him. We were all so excited when he said it so clearly about half way through this video!!

On a separate note-he slept all night long last night!! I've been giving him cereal with some formula right before he goes to bed, because he's quit nursing at this time. Let's hope for the same thing tonight!

We also bought his new car seat last night. Brad is hoping to get it installed tomorrow night, so we can test it out before we head to Charleston this weekend. I'm really excited about it, because it's got a new "sure latch" system that locks in and tightens up with just like 3 motions! Almost as easy as his infant seat with the base. It will be really sad to see him move up to this next seat, but he's too big for his little one. I will also miss being able to get a work-out as I carried him in when he was asleep, but it has become almost impossible to lift the 23 pound baby plus the weight of the seat!

He is still nursing in the morning and evening, just not right before he goes to bed. :-)
