Growing Like a Weed

Loves to eat those fingers

Batman and brother

Sweet boys--Parker watching Pax--just like always

I can't believe that Parker is already 4 months old!!!!  He weighs 14 pounds 6 ounces, and is 25 inches long.  He is getting really strong, and is in the early stages of sitting up.  He is starting to like his Bebe pod a little more, as long as he has some toys to play with.  He's not so much into his thumb anymore, but just wants to gnaw on something.  Dr. Lynn didn't really notice any signs of teething, but I feel like we're getting there.

He likes to grab his feet when laying on his back, and also started enjoying midnight (and 2 and 5 am) snacks!  Ugh!!  That's getting old.  He sure does love to eat, and we haven't really noticed the cereal helping make him sleep longer.  But, he's already liking it thicker, and is like his brother--he gets frustrated if it's coming too slow.  Most importantly, he loves his brother more and more.  He is content to watch him play, and smiles at him all the time!  If Pax is around, Parker is content (more or less).

A funny Pax story:
I picked him up one afternoon, and he wasn't using the best manners.  So, I said to him, "Where are your manners?"  He replied with a witty answer, "The cat ate them.  Now I don't have any manners!"  Hahaha! He has a funny little sense of humor!!

Parker's First Bites

Parker had his first bites of cereal January 17, and loved it.  He hasn't looked back since!  I didn't think it would go this well, being that he is only 4 months old, but it did.  He did a good job, and didn't push it back out of his mouth, like I remember Pax doing.  Yay, Parker!

I Love Randomness

The Spiva's came over for dinner and we made pizzas
They love each other!!!

Parker with Uncle Pat, and loves Aunt Lynne's phone

Parker holding his own bottle (yes, it's pink, but it was a hand-me-down)
More random pictures that I took on my phone.  I love these random pictures.  It's these snapshots that really capture our days!

Super Cool!

Batman

El Toro Loco

We gave Paxton tickets to Monster Jam for Christmas.  He was very excited to go to the "Monster Jams" with Mackenzie and Derek.

His favorite truck was Captain America.  It worked out perfectly that the two trucks he wanted to see (and stand in line for at the pit party) were Captain America and Batman.  The rest of the time we walked around and looked at the big tires!

Parker was with us through dinner when Mom and Dad did a "drive by" and came to pick him up before the show.  He was such a great sport, and was so good.

Mimi and Papa gave Pax money to spend there, and he chose a truck (that he had the 2 drivers sign) and a flag.  He was proud of both of his purchases.

Pax wore some headphones throughout the show, but towards the end, he took them off.  I was surprised that he wasn't bothered by the noise.

Brad and I didn't know too much about monster trucks, so I'm glad we went with Mackenzie and Derek.  Pax had a ton of questions, so I was glad I could lean over to Kenzie.  By the end of the show, we were all Grave Digger and Grinder fans. Those two did quite impressive freestyle rides.  It was exciting to watch!!

Hi Ho! Hi Ho!

I had to leave this sweet face (who fixed his own hair!!)

And this sweet face! (sporting a onesie for the Grandpas)

It's back to work I go!  My sweet Dad sent me the beautiful roses to help make my transition back to work a little brighter!  Even though it was really hard to leave my boys, my class was excited to have me back, and it wasn't TOOOO bad coming back to work!

I brought Cloi home one day after school to come play, and they had fun coloring the rocket ship Pax got for Christmas from Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bruce.
