Santa Rosa Beach

We spent a lot of time out here at this table. It had a great view!

The kids would have gone crabbing every night if someone would take them! They loved it! Pax even picked up a crab!

They even caught some big ones one night.

The 3 kids LOVED Uncle Adam--and that's what he went by to Zoe and Demetri, too! :-)

He was their play toy, jungle gym, and pillow!

He kept wanting to go higher!

The twins in my class this year gave Pax this hat! At least we won't forget his name, right??

He had a blast! Check out his face!

Story time provided by Amber

Our family had such a fun week at Santa Rosa Beach. We met up with my Aunt Sherry and Uncle John, and their son, Fred, and his family all from Texas. We stayed in a super nice house and had some amazing meals prepared by Fred's wife, Amber! Brad and I stayed for Memorial Day weekend, and had to drive home for work on Tuesday morning. Pax stayed with Grandma and Pops and the rest of the family. I then flew back to the beach on Wednesday after work. I enjoyed my extended beach time.

Pax had fun swimming and playing in the sand. He became a little fish in the pool. He had fun playing with his cousins, Demetri (6 1/2), and Zoe (5). The three kiddos played really well together.

One day as I was putting sunscreen on us, Pax said that I needed to swallow some for Parker to have some in my belly! So considerate of him to think of his baby brother!!

Brad and I joined a bunch of teachers from school at Kenny Chesney. We went on an RV and were living the good life!! There were 16 of us and we tailgated before the concert. Brad was the champ at corn hole!

Pax stayed with Pops for the evening! They had fun going out to dinner and swimming in the hot tub! They were both worn out at the end of the night!

End of Season Party

Pax with his first trophy!

The team

One final, "Go Braves"

We had the T-ball end of season banquet last night at Stevie B's. We had a fun time watching all the kiddos run around and play the games. They LOVED getting their trophies! Then, they did one last, "Go Braves!" as a team. That was always my favorite part! It was so cute!

21 Weeks and Counting

21 week picture

I had my 20 week check up last week. All is going well. The best news for me is that I only gained 2 pounds the last month, for a total of 11 so far. My weight gain is a whole lot better this time than with Pax. By this time with Pax, I had gained at least 20 pounds.

Also, Pax felt him kick Saturday night! The baby was moving around, and I took Pax's hand to put it on my belly. He got the biggest grin and just looked at me when he felt him kick! Pax was so excited to feel his baby brother!!! The baby seemed to know that it was his big brother, too!

DC Night at the Braves Game

Pax and Zachary--they had a blast together

plus Joshua

They got to walk on the field!!!

Zachary, Pax, James, and Joshua

Jason and Pax---he was a HUGE fan of the tomahawk chop!

The Greba's were there, too. Zach and Pax thought Uncle Pat was pretty cool!!!

Dana and Dallas

While the boys were walking, some of the Braves players were warming up. They were really close to them! Some of them they saw were McCann, Beachy, and McDowell.

We joined the majority of Douglas County at the Braves game Friday night. There were only 5 of Paxton's team there, but we had a blast. Pax did the tomahawk chop pretty much the entire time! He and Zachary enjoyed cotton candy and playing with Uncle Pat. We ended up watching about half the game from their seats.

The boys enjoyed walking on the field before the game. Brad said that he has a new appreciation for the field after being down on it! Pax really liked it until he saw Homer, the mascot, and started shaking! He's so silly!!

Mother's Day 2011

Getting ready to go swimming

Pax and Grandma

3 Generations

We made these in Sunday School. I thought it was cute to see what he told Amanda about me!

We celebrated Mother's Day in a very low key way. We went to church, ate a delicious lunch out by the pool, swam, and then Pax and I got in a great nap! The perfect Mother's Day, if you ask me!:-)

I hope that all you Mother's out there also had a wonderful day!!!!
