Santa Visits the Destin Divas

Santa's HERE!!!!

All the kiddos waiting for their gifts from Santa

Rex and Parker B with Santa

The lone girls of the group-Sadie Jane and Ellie

Mick was kind enough to let Parker have a brownie bite!  Hehe!
Mom and Dad had the Destin Divas group to their house for our annual Christmas party.  Santa made an appearance this year, and was the hit of the party!  The boys had so much fun playing with their remote control cars, and the girls loved their little dolls!  Everyone thought that was pretty neat that Santa visited!!!  It looks like that's a new part of this old tradition!

Christmas at Nannie's

These 3 are silly!!!!

Parker and his new book
Nannie and some of her great-grandkids (Pax, Hunter, Parker, Drew, and Marti)
We celebrated Christmas at Nannie's on Dec 16.  Pax, Drew, and Hunter always have so much fun playing together, and this time was no exception!  I'm glad the weather was decent so that they could play outside.  After the last picture was taken, Parker had enough.  He started sending all his cousins to the floor as he pushed and shoved them.  It was almost like he wanted Nannie all to himself!

Snow Mountain Fun

The boys at the Christmas Village

Grandma and Pops took the boys to Snow Mountain and spent the night.  They had a really fun time!!  They went to the Christmas Village Friday night, and rode the night train.  Then they went sledding down the mountain on Saturday.

The next morning--baby food jar/spaghetti jar candles

Donut snowmen

Our Thanksgiving wreath

I used my cricut to cut vinyl stickers for these jars
This is where I hang their artwork!

We hosted my school faculty's Christmas party at our house.  There were about 45 people that came to the party, and we had such a fun time!  I got to make several of my pinterest finds for this party!  My favorite was the pesto cheese ball shaped like a Christmas tree!

Earlier in the week, I got the supplies for Cloi, Gabby, and Pax to make donut snowmen.  They enjoyed this pinterest find!  You can also see the ornaments hanging in the window, which also came from pinterest.

I also wanted to document two of my thanksgiving pinterest ideas.  I was proud of how my wreath and wheat bottles turned out!

Brad's Pride and Joy

The finished fireplace

The Showalter's came over for the inaugural burn

with the grills

The outdoor kitchen is officially finished!  This idea originally started as extending out the patio with a fire pit.  That was upgraded to the fireplace.  Then, after that was completed, Brad wanted to go ahead and make it a full-fledged outdoor kitchen complete with a grill insert and a green egg!  I foresee that lots of fun will be had out here!

He's Back!

Strike, that is!

Strike came home last weekend, and we finally got a chance to ride him.  I rode him for a little bit, and then Pax got on.  I walked him around and was teaching him how to stop and make him go.  They both did really well!  Pax liked it, and didn't want to stop when I was tired of walking in circles.  Hehe!!  He went home and told Brad all about making him "whoa!"

Paxton's Pre-K Conference

Paxton's school conference went very well!  Mrs. Jennifer told me that he is right where he is supposed to be, and is very sweet to the kids that need a little extra help, or those that have a hard time behaving properly.  Proud momma moment right there!

Mrs. Jennifer showed me this picture he had drawn of our family.  I love the captions with it!!

A little story Pax told me about school---He said that there is a camera in their classroom that Mrs. Debbie can see them from.  Then he said that she's always watching, kind of like God and Santa.  Too funny!!!
