We had the Dobbs Family Reunion Sunday, July 25. It was extremely hot, but it was fun to see all of Brad's family. There were many people that I had never met, so it was nice to get to know them. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after we ate.

We had my 29th (crazy! I'm getting so old!) birthday at Mom and Dad's house on Saturday. The weather didn't really cooperate and let us do much laying out, but we did a lot of hanging out. It was a small group, and we had a really fun time.

We had a reunion with the kids from my class this past year. Even though there weren't many there, it was still fun! I enjoyed this time with such a special group of kids! Man, I'll miss them this year!

On Thursday, we had several friends come over and swim. We started the day swimming with Stephanie, Micah, and Sadie Jane. Then, Kellie, Marisa, and Mia came over. Pax had so much fun swimming with all of his little friends. He and Mia actually entertained themselves in the water table and sand box. I was suprised at how well they played together.

The oil didn't stop us from going on our annual family vacation to Perdido Key this year. It didn't stop us from playing on the beach and swimming in the ocean, either. It was absolutely beautiful down there! The last two days, the waves even calmed down and we floated in the ocean! Just a fabulous vacation with Mimi, Papa, Aunt Tammy and Uncle Steve!

Brad and I both celebrated birthdays while we were down there. What a great way to spend our birthdays!
