Dancing the Night Away

We went to Stephanie Hendrick's wedding, and had a blast. We have known Stephanie and her family my whole life.  I used to even give her horseback riding lessons.  It was fun to see her all grown up and starting her own life with a really great guy!

We had our field day on Friday, and it was so much fun!  We did all kind of relays in the morning and then did the water events in the afternoon.  I think ALL the kids, including Pax and Parker, loved field day!  I know I sure was exhausted!

Don't Judge Us :-)

Yes, we gave in and went to the fair at Arbor Place Mall.  I know, I know.  We're officially rednecks now.  But, Brad made the mistake by parking in the front of the mall when we went shopping Friday evening, and Pax really wanted to go ride the rides.  He asked if he was a good boy, could we go.  Well, he was a really good boy while we shopped, so we told him he could pick one ride.  We paid $2 and bought 2 tickets, and then had 3 different people give us a couple tickets.  So, he was able to ride 3 things, and only cost us 2 bucks.  It was really nice of those people to pass on all those tickets to us!!!  It turned out to be a really fun evening.

Mother's Day Brunch Gone Bad

3 friends right before the accident

Check out that fat lip!

Pax, Ashleigh, and Parker May 7 at Monterrey's

So, I had the privilege of going to Paxton's mother's day brunch at school. I took the afternoon off from school so Pax and I could spend the day together.  Little did I know how quickly our relaxing day would change.  After the brunch, Pax, Graham, and Max were playing together.  They were hugging and jumping up and down.  They lost their balance, and Pax's face met the corner of the table.  I watched the whole thing unfold, and it was like it was in slow motion.  I immediately grabbed him up and we went into the hallway where I discovered LOTS of blood!!!!  The moms around sure did help keep me calm.  Glad they were there.  Pax was kind of out of it, so I got a little worried about him.  He wasn't making any sense with what he was saying, so we went to see Pops at work, and he said that he would be fine, so we headed home.  After a nap, Pax woke up and was better.  His lip was SUPER swollen, but he was acting normal again!  Thank goodness!!  Needless to say, we didn't get pool time that day.  :-(

Share Group

All the kiddos

Parker and Ethan (1 yr)

We had Share Group at Clinton Farms Saturday afternoon.  The kids all played on the playground and then we enjoyed some Barbecue (made by Brad) and sides.  We ended the afternoon/evening with a little game of t-ball with the kids, too.  Fun times!!

Since the big party has passed, we are able to enjoy some down time by the pool. Pax has become SUCH a fish, and is swimming everywhere!  Like his big brother, Parker loves the water, too.  I see some fun summer days in our future!!
