Decked out for T-ball

Feb 7th
Pax came home from Mimi and Papa's today with several special surprises:-) They bought him some cleats, baseball pants, and a t-ball bat. Then, Mimi found Brad's old jersey from when he played t-ball. Pax was all decked out and looked so cute!!! Even though he had a fever from an ear infection and upper respiratory infection, Pax still managed some smiles when he put this on!!

Snapshots from January

January 30--Beautiful weekend outdoors

Our Little Man showing off his bird feeder he got for Christmas

Pax and Daddy getting ready to hang it up

Oh! So proud of himself for hanging this up!

January 20th-Gigi came in town

This was part of their "concert" for everyone! He called everyone in the room, and told Gigi to play the piano while he played the guitar and sang every song he knew! Precious!
January 22-Meeting George

Sweet George Thomas May

Born January 5th

This was before Pax dropped a toy on George's head!!! Ahh!!

January 15-Dallas came to play

watching the smoothies being made
Pax is awfully excited, and Dallas is not too sure what to think about the loud blender and what's going on!
Pax eyeing the whole blender like he's going to eat ALL the smoothies (poobies, as he calls them!!)
During the month of January, I really didn't get my camera out much. Sad!:-( Here are some of the pictures that I DID take, though.

They also show off his new haircut he got! He looks so big now!

T-ball Practice

Brad pitching and Papa playing catcher

Pax is all signed up for t-ball now! I can't believe that he's old enough to play, but he's going to play on a 3/4 year old team. Hopefully, Brad will be the coach, and he'll be playing with 2 of his friends, Dallas and Zachary. I'm so excited about this. We're just going to make sure the boys have fun with this!

When we were at Mimi and Papa's Sunday afternoon, he wanted to practice. He actually wanted Brad to pitch it to him, and he was making some GREAT contact! Haha!

His games will be on Saturday mornings starting March 12. Be on the look out for tons of pictures of that big day!:-)

Ice Hike

It was so hard to drive the Gator, that Christian drove it for him.

We went on an Ice Hike-you could say-today from Mom and Dad's. We decided to take the sled and walk through the woods to my school to find some hills. I also needed to feed my frogs since they hadn't eaten since Friday!

Judy, Christian, Mom, Brad, Pax, and I headed through the woods and had to take it easy since the ice was very tricky to walk on! I think I busted it at least 3 times on our hike! On the way back, Christian hooked the rope from Pax's sled around his waist and pulled him back. We were definitely ready for some lunch when we returned!

The ice has the kids out another school day, and teachers are supposed to go from 11-4 if we're able to make it. I think I'll just walk back through the woods to get a little bit done.

Winter Storm 2011

The snow coming down Sunday night!

Brad and Pax measuring the snow as it fell Sunday night-right at 3 inches!

Brad pulling Pax down the driveway Monday.

He was flying!

Look at his face!! Loving it!

Beautiful white wonderland!

Yes, Pax has a helmet on. He took a pretty rough spill sledding on the ice down the driveway when he hit his head after crashing after the above pictures!

Top Spin was freezing but refused to go inside. He would take a step and then he'd break the ice as he put weight on it. He had a tough time walking in it.

Grandma, Pax, and Top Spin

Well, we got more snow two weeks after the Christmas Day one. Sunday night it started coming down really hard and we had 3 inches in no time at all! We were at Mom and Dad's and are now snowed in with them.
School is out for 3 days as of now. We can say good bye to our February break and our trip to Disney World. This is so sad!!!

When we woke up Monday, there was about 1/4 inch of ice on top of the snow. This made it a little difficult to play in, but we certainly managed. We had fun trying to find some good hills to sled down. We sunk in so bad, that it really just meant sledding for Pax. I did end up with some pretty nice bruises from falls in the ice.

Pax and I didn't even venture out of the house today, and are feeling a little bit of cabin fever. Although, Brad and Dad took the truck out to see how the roads were and to get a few supplies.

We might have to take the Gator out tomorrow, but I don't know how well it will go with the ice!

I caught Pax on my new iPhone singing along with his Praise Baby DVD and thought it was too precious not to post.

Happy New Year!

Dally feeding her puppies with Papa, Pax, and Brooks looking on

Holding the sweet little puppies--Pax had us all lined up! Pax got to open his Christmas presents from Uncle Brooks and Aunt Shell. They got him these really cool finger paints that only show up on the certain paper!:-) He also really liked the soccer goal and tools they gave him!!

Pax spent the night with Mimi and Papa last night, and then rode with them to Uncle Brooks' house. Brad and I drove up to meet them and spent the day at their house. We got to see the brand new puppies, and ate a delicious dinner! Pax loves going to Uncle Brooks' farm! It's a shame that it was raining and he couldn't play outside a whole lot!
