He couldn't stay away from the water!

So, I just took his shirt off, and look how crazy he went!

This picture is just for Mackenzie---this is the resort where she got married. They actually exchanged vows on the pier in the right of the picture. This was our view from the ship in Charleston.

We went on a Carnival cruise over Thanksgiving with my family. We left out of Charleston, so we were able to see my entire family before and after the trip.

We cruised to Nassau, Freeport, and Key West. I think our consensus was that we actually had the most fun in Key West. It might just have had something to do with the weather. It was beautiful in Key West, where it rained in Freeport, and was cloudy in Nassau. That didn't stop us from enjoying the beaches, though.

When we arrived in Nassau on Monday, we were eating breakfast on one of the decks when a Disney cruise ship came in right next to us. Mickey and Minnie were on the top deck waving at us, and Paxton was so excited! It was so cute to see the excitement through his eyes in this moment, as well as on the entire trip! (Mom has some pictures of that on her camera)

We spent the day in Nassau at the Atlantis Resort. It was awesome! We had our own private lagoon to swim in and then we enjoyed the 2 aquariums they have. That is a monstrous place!!!

In Freeport, we did a little shopping, and then found another beautiful beach. We couldn't get over the colors of the ocean! However, we got caught in a rain storm and took shelter until it cleared.

Our best 2 days were in Key West (where we again went to the beach and did a tour, too) and then our first day at sea heading home. It was bittersweet to have to head home, but it was a gorgeous day and all we could see was ocean all around us! Brad and Adam enjoyed the water slides on the boat, and Pax had fun just playing in the fountains and throwing the ball with his Daddy. Good thing that Pax and Brad had each other, because the rest of us would sit and read, but not those two!

The food on the ship was so yummy, and our service was awesome!! Everyone knew Paxton's name and they were so excited to see him every night at dinner. The service really made the trip!

The shows on the ship were also entertaining! Pax loved them and would sing and dance with the people. One night, they gave out glow sticks, and Pax had a ball waving those around and later drumming on anything and everything. The last show, he made me take him up close so he could see the band. He was mesmerized, and sat in awe at the drummer and the rest of the band. I'm seeing a future in music that starting to show up on this cruise.

Pax really improved his potty training while we were there! He went days keeping his pull up dry, and we even spent an evening (away from close bathrooms) in big boy underwear! He is really good at telling us when he has to go now. My goal is to be in big boy underwear by Christmas. We'll see how well I do, though!
