Lunch at the King

Cloi, Marisa, Pax, and Mia

Cuddled up in bed :-)

Cloi took this of Parker sleeping

We kept Cloi again for the day, and met the Showalter's for lunch at Burger King.  The kids had a fun time playing on the playground, and Kellie and I had a fun time chatting.  Seeing my friends every day is about the only thing I miss being out on maternity leave!  :-)

POTD

Smiley boy!

Sleeping in his crib

We babysat Cloi for the day on Nov. 8

I'm not sure who likes Cloi days more-- me, Pax, or Cloi!!:-)

POTD-Picture of the Day is what I've been calling it.  When I think about it, I send the grandmothers (and Sarah) a daily picture.  Or, POTD could stand for Problem of the Day like it does in my classroom.  But, I'm not thinking about school right now while I'm on maternity leave!

The last picture was taken the morning after he went 10 hours between feedings!!!  He's been sleeping really well, and consistently goes 7 or 8 hours, but this was by far the longest he's gone!

Thanksgiving Feast--ELC Style

Pax's class coming in

Grandma got to come

Pax and Max--we hear all about him and Garrett

Parker was snoozing on Grandma

Our little Indian

The Monkey Friends

Mom and I took Parker to Paxton's school for his Thanksgiving Feast.  The classes sang a couple of songs and then enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner they prepared.  Each class was responsible for fixing a different part of the feast.  Pax's class made the brownies, and the kids enjoyed eating those! :-)

Time with Extended Family

Aunt Kathy riding Pax's tractor!  Haha!

Pax and Cousin Drew

Parker got to meet Aunt Carol and Aunt Kathy for the first time

"Down for the count"--as Pax says!!!

We headed to Nannie's house to celebrate Thanksgiving since Aunt Kathy and Aunt Carol were in town!  It was fun hanging out with all of Keith's sisters, and Pax had such a great time playing with his cousin Drew!

Paxton/Mommy Date

Both of us on the Jett Rider

Parker at Grandma's

Pax has been needing some Mommy time, so Grandma kept Parker while Pax and I went to Chuck E. Cheese after school.  He was very excited about going on a Paxton/Mommy date!  He's already talking about the next one he wants to go on!

Crafty Centerpiece

The finished product!

On Monday, Tori and Melanie helped Pax make this adorable centerpiece for Thanksgiving!  Aunt Tori had seen this on pinterest, and thought that Pax would enjoy making this.  It was split pease, red beans, and then popcorn seeds.  I think it turned out super cute.  I think we'll make it at Mom's, too!
